Description:
This is my first dormant gold double tetraploid. It is a late
bloomer so it will extend your bloom season. I have used Topguns
Goldilocks extensively the last two years in my quest for
good dormant gold and yellow doubles. I am expecting some great
seedlings from this flower starting in the spring of 2004. Topguns
Goldilocks usually has three branches and 12 to 15 buds in
my garden. It usually starts blooming at around 6.00 inches and
doubles virtually every time for me. There is a faint eye on the
petals and they are ruffled. The throat is a deep green. It has
been a strong grower and the flowers open early. It has been an
easy pod and pollen parent for me.
