Description:
(TG97-T32, Chicago Picotee Memories X Pirates Patch)
This was one of my first picotee crosses. It combines the cold
hardiness of Roy Klem's picotees with the size and showiness of
Pirates Patch. Topguns Alice Langley was named after a
daylily grower in Topeka Kansas who has grown my flowers longer
than anyone other than myself. When grown right, this is a very
large flower, many measuring in at over 6.50" and with reasonable
weather, Topguns Alice Langley will rebloom here in Oklahoma
City. The flowers are a very light cream with a purple eye and
edge. The lime green throat finishes off the flower. It has 3
way branching for me but our weather is not conductive for ideal
daylily growing so it will probably do better in less stressful
conditions The substance on Topguns Alice Langley is outstanding.
It is a dormant tetraploid that is both pod and pollen fertile.
I have used it extensively in my quest for dormant picotees.
